This series of work intend to see the beauty on the male body from a female point of view. Having seen thousands of female nudes in museums and every day life I was wondering why we (women) don't look at men the same way? As I can't answer for all the women in the world, I started the exercise of looking and representing my subjects of desire, what I like, what I enjoy to look at. I chose to do this image in cross stitch with the double purpose of re-thinking the stereotypes on embroidery and fiber arts as an easy and simple technique, and take it to a level of complexity that allow the viewer to see new possibilities in fiber art, and also to force the viewer to re-think what historically has been considered as feminity, and feminin labors.
